The songs that play while you wait in line for the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland take you back to the 1930s with such classics as Moonglow by Benny Goodman, Moon Over Burma by Dorothy Lamour, Goodnight Wherever You Are by Harry Leader. The songs at Disneyland are broken up by periodic mock radio announcements by the legendary fictional character Albert Awoi. We present all of the songs here in their full glory. The only music you will hear in the Jungle Cruise is contained in the queueing area (and the chanting of the headhunters, which we were unable to find).
The Jungle Cruise is one of the few rides that has been around since the day Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955. The Jungle Cruise was based on a 1955 True-Life Adventure about a pride of lions, and the movie "The African Queen".
